Social Investment Scotland Joins as Bronze Sponsor of the Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Summit & Festival 2025

The DataKirk is delighted to announce that Social Investment Scotland (SIS) has joined as a Bronze Sponsor of the #Scottish #Ethnic #Minority #Talent #Summit and #Festival 2025, taking place from 6–10 October 2025 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

This year’s theme, “#Wellbeing and #Resilience – #Thriving in a #Changing #World,” underscores the importance of inclusive growth, innovation, and support systems that empower ethnic minority individuals and communities to thrive personally, professionally, and economically.

Social Investment Scotland’s mission — “To connect capital with communities to make a real, measurable and sustainable impact upon people’s lives” — resonates strongly with the vision of the Summit. Their sponsorship reflects a shared commitment to building equitable ecosystems that foster opportunity, representation, and long-term impact.

Alastair Davis OBE, CEO of Social Investment Scotland, commented:

“We’re pleased to support the Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Summit and Festival 2025, which plays an important role in promoting inclusion and opportunity across Scotland. The focus on wellbeing, resilience, and representation aligns closely with our values at Social Investment Scotland. This partnership will help shine a light on the talent and potential within Scotland’s ethnic minority communities and contribute to building a stronger, fairer economy for everyone.”

Fash Fasoro, CEO of DataKirk and organiser of the Summit, added:

“We are honoured to welcome Social Investment Scotland as a Bronze Sponsor. SIS’s track record of empowering communities through impact investment aligns powerfully with the objectives of this Summit. Together, we aim to spotlight and support the talents of Scotland’s richly diverse population – not just as participants in the economy, but as innovators, leaders, and changemakers.”

The Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Summit and Festival 2025 will feature a dynamic programme of keynote speakers, panel discussions, interactive workshops, pitch sessions, cultural showcases, and networking opportunities. The event seeks to connect ethnic minority talent with decision-makers, employers, investors, and wider community stakeholders across Scotland and beyond.

With support from partners like SIS, the Summit continues to grow as a national platform dedicated to dismantling barriers and enabling access to opportunity for Scotland’s global majority communities.
