Unlocking Potential: A Collaborative Endeavor with CEMVO and DataKirk
2 min read
It was a remarkable evening when DataKirk played host to the CEMVO (Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary Sector Organisations) team, welcoming Qianlin Wang and Fiaz Khan, an adept networker, to an employability support program tailored for our black talent pool.
During the event, Qianlin Wang's expertise in crafting exceptional CVs, cover letters, and job application techniques left a lasting impression, delving into crucial aspects of these essential documents. Participants were treated to one-on-one sessions with the facilitators, who exhibited patience and meticulous attention while reviewing the CVs and cover letters presented.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Chuks Ododo for facilitating this valuable connection. Special thanks to our host, Odunayo Ogunsanwo, whose meticulous planning crafted an outstanding agenda perfectly tailored to the community's needs. We would also like to acknowledge the support provided by Farida Badamosi and Oluwatosin Fashola throughout the evening.
CEMVO's partnership is truly commendable and deeply appreciated, as it aligns with our collective goal of empowering black talents within minority communities. By equipping them with a comprehensive understanding of industry requirements, we aim to bolster their confidence in their skills and competencies.
A heartfelt thank you to all our attendees and supporters who joined us in this endeavour:
Together, we are making a meaningful impact on the journey to empower and uplift our black talents.
